Youth welfare and education – A matter dear to the heart
Mr. and Mrs. Grieshaber (Heinrich and Gabriele) have always placed great importance on the welfare and education of children and adolescents. In 2014, they decided to establish a foundation that would allow them to provide long-term support for youth welfare and education. Their charitable foundation is especially active in the Lake Constance-Upper Swabia region, as well as at GRIESHABER Logistik’s other locations.

We support youth welfare
A person’s childhood has a major influence on their possibilities and opportunities in life. Depending on their life situation, children are unable to seize certain educational opportunities or participate in leisure activities that allow them to make friends and gain valuable life experience. We’re committed to ensuring that all children – regardless of their life situation, origin or religion – get the chance to experience the best possible development and education.
We’re committed to education
Education is a valuable asset that opens many doors. Young people must be granted access to the best possible education (school, vocational training, university, etc.) in order to pursue their life goals. In addition, they must be provided with appropriate validation for their commitment and the time they invest in their education. As a result, we support extracurricular educational opportunities that instil knowledge in young people, allow them to gain experience and help them grow, and honour outstanding final theses submitted by students.

Our Chairwoman on the background of the foundation
Gabriele Grieshaber is Founder and Chairwoman of the Gabriele and Heinrich Grieshaber Foundation. She created the foundation with her husband Heinrich Grieshaber. “We’re extremely grateful for what we have. We invested a lot of time and energy to get it, and wanted to find a way to pass it on. We thought of all the children and adolescents in our society who have it hard and who need assistance. We recognised that we were in a position to help young people by giving them a chance in life. This was our motivation for creating the Gabriele and Heinrich Grieshaber Foundation. We wanted to support disadvantaged young people and give something back to the community.”
